Audi just revealed the specs of its redesigned 2010 Audi TT Roadster and Coupe. Both models are said to be equipped with 2.0-liter TDI diesel engines. The Roadster, Audi said, will be priced from 35,900 euros, while the coupe can be purchased from 34,850 euros.
The German car manufacturer also disclosed that since the release of these vehicles to the market, the TDI diesel engine’s share in the TT-range increased abruptly to 11%. The tweaks made to both cars were kept to the styling details. No mechanical modifications were made, and the units still carry the same 2.0-liter turbo diesel engine.
This engine can generate a maintaining power of 170 HP, and a maximum torque of 258.15 pound-feet. Consumers can choose either a 1750 rpm or a 2500 rpm unit. The models will also be available as permanent-all-wheel drives. The standard variants will be mated with a six-speed manual transmission.
